Yes Counselor, I do believe that you've never posted anything intelligent on this thread, at least that I read. Reading this thread is like swimming upstream, they're posted faster than I can read them. But then that's the only viable strategy the Republicans can field, drown out the thoughtful observations of those that actually believe in the US Constitution. E.g., US citizens are being held in solitary confinement without the benefit of counsel, even yours, by that fascist John Ashcroft. We've lost our humanity by violating the most basic principles. Jose Padilla, a New York-born US citizen was arrested by the FBI 18 months ago and has not been given a lawyer or charged or arraigned. Is that a violation of the Bill of Rights? Not even a petition for a writ of habeas corpus could get him out of jail because he had no way or no one to file it for him? Does that make you proud to be a lawyer in the US? Is that the kind of justice that you went to law school to practice? If so, fascist Aschroft has a job for you and it comes with a rubber hose.
