Total Deaths in Iraq due to war activity since March 19, 2003.

U.S. military KIA:..........430
U.S. military, suicide:......17
Other Coalition and NGO....~300

Iraq Body Count provides figures on reported and verifiable civilian casualties (i.e. deaths) in Iraq.

The current figure are:

Minimum: 7,918

Maximum: 9,749

iraqbodycount.com

There are no accurate figures for Iraqi military deaths. I have heard from several sources ranges of between 5,000 to 10,000 Iraqi soldiers dead.

Adding all components, I come up with

a minimum of 13,650 deaths,

a maximum of 20,500 deaths.

(All figures are approximate.)

Things are starting to add up to real misery.
