Show me one recent photograph of Iraqi citizens celebrating the deaths of Iraqi resistance fighters.

Show me the pictures of Kurds and Shiites celebrating the attacks upon Coalition forces..

There are plenty of shots showing the Iraqis celebrating the defeat of coalition forces.

Primarily, with a few exceptions, Sunnis.. who represented the previous power base.

Personally, I'm still astounded that US forces and Iraqi police don't immediately round up and detain anyone who displays support for Saddam's regime or the remnants of their fedeyeen and special republican guard.

But then again, we have to remember that most of these kids are posing for the media photographers, some of who are probably prompting the kids to act in a certain manner.

But kids are kids... they have grown up with Saddam and known nothing else. They are impressionable, emotional, and have lots of free time on their hands. They certainly are not generally responsible for having to provide for a family or earn a living.

And we were all the same way at that age, glorifying combat and confrontation, playing army, but never having to deal with the reality of the economic world.

But why listen to me? Listen to this guy who's actually there and dealing with the Iraqi people:

And note his post on November 2nd where he asserts that "Iraqis are FLOWING in with information" on these resistance groups.

Where are the photos and news reports on that?
