Lorne, where does Lieberman stand in the polls amongst the Democratic voters. You would think that for all his name recognition, he would be the front runner. But people talk about Dean, Gephardt and Kerry as being in the top tier. No mention of Lieberman. He has skipped some of the debates too.

So his views are not the views of the majority. He was one of the first to lash out and vote for impeachment of Clinton. He was on the losing side at that time too. So I would not agree with you that his comments reflect that the Democrats are at last beginning to understand.
