Hello Searle: Check this one out.
Entitled: America's Future: Endless Enemies, Endless Debt.
" At one time, the U.S. had a thriving economy that was the envy of the world. It also had a proud middle class. Today, compliments of the “Free Trade” policy, the filthy rich have become even richer, while just about everyone else has to work longer hours, at less pay and at more menial jobs, with fewer benefits, too, just to keep their heads above water. Just as you once stated, seeing the excesses of the rich ruling classes, one can't help but become a little more socialistic in one's outlook. Or is it cynicism derived from years of observation?
On a local level, I have lived through various governments and in the end they all deserve to be thrown out, and new crooks elected. The legal system is even worse. I call it the legal system because that is what it is. Justice from the legal system is incidental, and it seldom occurs. Justice actually doesn't matter as long as the legal system has been applied. O.J. Simpson went before the law, and the legal system set him free. The system survived, the lawyers thrived and life goes on.
In politics they say the voter is always right, the people have spoken. They say the same bullshit about the Legal system and the Jury's verdict. |
