This is an obvious ploy. Syria is giving Hizbullah a free run in Lebanon, openly aiding the Ba'athists and sending jihadists to kill American troops in Iraq, but now we're supposed to drop everything and run to the "peace table" because Boy Assad has indicated he might be willing to talk? Kick that football one more time, Charlie Brown!
