Though I'm very apolitical, I was planning to be in Vegas shortly after my son's 21st birthday. I'm told this group is gathering there on Feb 6th, which is right at a week after his birthday so I'd like to attend.
Sandintoes tells me there are tentatively 22 people planning to attend.
My wife, who has even less time than I do, but far greater organizational skills, has agreed to coordinate this gathering.
If it's desired by the group, I'd be happy to speak at the dinner (provided I get enough to eat) on a topic of their choosing. Don't ask me to speak about the market. I'm all about message boards. A possible topic could be the current state of SI, iHub, and other message boards and where I expect them to be in the future.
Also, if the group doesn't mind, I'd like to expand this to include more than the RWET folks and extend an invitation to anyone who might be interested in coming. If we get at least 100 attendees, I'll see to it that we get some event-specific t-shirts made.
I'll be staying at the Imperial Palace, which is where I always stay out there. My wife has already done some preliminary checking there to see what's available to accomodate a large group.
