Rev. Al Sharpton may soon be applying for matching federal funds for his campaign run.

Question: where are all the liberals who are so concerned about federal financing of religion now? How is it that a minister can get federal funds to support his campaign? How is this any different from parochial schools getting money to educate young folks?

Oh, I forgot -- the Reverend is a liberal who attacks Bush and is useful in making most Democratic candidates seem less left wing by comparison to him, so of course the liberals won't object to feeding money to him, even if they are federal dollars. Silly me not to see that right away.
