Hiam

You are correct. The A7N8X must have at least 2 sticks installed to get the DDR. The good news is you only gotta buy 1 more stick. Overclocking the Asus/AMD is not difficult at all. Once you understand what you are doing, it is a piece of cake.

Another little ditty: If you are planning on running an old stock power supply, the board needs at least 450W. My old 300w pwr supply fried so fast that the system never even showed a flicker on the first attempt to power up. I thought I had a bad motherboard until I checked voltages.

You will be very happy with the A7N8X. It will also run the AMD 3200 for me when the price comes down. I can't wait to see what it will overclock to. (g)
