Tim,
WMT is the most notorious but it's not only judges who are allowing companies to take outrageous actions due to the fact many citizens are shareholders of a particular company. Recently I've been complaining locally of all the foreign companies that have bought out once American-owned businesses. More than once I've been told to be quiet since the person admonishing me has shares of the foreign company in his 401K. We have allowed ourselves to become whores to these multi-nationals & are now starting to suffer the consequences.
