Commercial short position is meaningless IMO.
They produce gold
They sell it
They will almost always be short
I did a post on this somewhere, was it here?
Lots of info on why watching commercial short position is silly.
Now look at big specs.
17,000 of them threw in the towel.
That helped fuel this rise.
When everyone is long that's when to look out.
