Soros is indeed using fancy legal methods of avoiding estate taxes - he has set up a number of foundations. This is also the vehicle of choice of Bill Gates and Warren Buffett, who also ardently oppose getting rid of estate taxes. Foundations, especially family foundations, are sweet, sweet deals for the ultra rich. I don't suppose there is any selfishness involved in their public stances, do you? These gentlemen are well-known paradigms of selflessness. ;^)
