You keep saying "no plan" and "no solution". Without linking to every Democratic candidate's remarks on Iraq and other issues, not to mention numerous Senators and liberal commentators, it's not correct to say that there is Bush's policy, criticism of that policy and nothing else. We can all see the public media and the diversity of views out there.

If you think none of the other ideas merits consideration, that is your opinion. But the views are there, and a serious chunk of Americans prefer them to Bush's current actions despite the bump from his Thanksgiving trip.

Half of America respectfully disagrees with your view. They "go for" other ideas. If you haven't heard the other plans, you need to read more.

JMHO.

Approval of Bush's handling of Iraq increased slightly, with 44 percent approving and 53 percent disapproving before Thanksgiving, and people evenly split on that question now. The public view of his handling of the economy also shifted from a 45-51 percent split before Thanksgiving to a public divided almost evenly on his handling of the economy, 50-48, afterward.
