One of the most critical things you need to appreciate is never to underestimate the impact you have on both the kids and their parents. I learned the hard way, let me tell ya. Everything you do and say could make an impact. Try to keep your cool. Take the high rode, but be firm. Careful with what you say and how you say it. Hard to do sometimes. Coaches get caught up in it, too. Teach them never to give up, never to quit. Positive reinforcement. Set an example. RR
