When society is confronted with large tasks, it uses large organizations, either government agencies or corporations, to accomplish those tasks. We did depend on bureaucrats to take us to the moon because individuals by themselves could not accomplish such a large task. Without the National Park Service, there would be no national parks. Without companies such as Boeing, there would be no commercial aircraft. Without the Defense Department, there would be no military. I could go on and on. The point is we do need bureauacracies.
