Jesus was hated by the Pharisees for he criticized their following of their own created oral tradition replacement for the Torah, the Old Testament, then called the Mishnah. The Babylonian Talmud, which incorporates large portion of the so called ancient Mystery religions of ancient Babylon is the written down version of the Mishnah. I found it hard to believe myself but its true and only figured it our recently. Jews today don't follow the laws of the Old Testament at all!
