Higher NG prices will have a positive impact on EP's NG producing assets but not much of an impact on their pipeline assets which is their core business.

Even though EP has some of the best pipeline assets in the sector which should produce a stable cash flow stream, I'm not convinced that EP will be a survivor in its current capital structure. It's hard to analysis EP with the rate at which they have been selling assets, and the unwinding of some of the prior accounting games on the balance sheet. Their leverage continues to increase each Q and they continue to operate at a negative cash flow from operations.

I'm also not convinced all the bad news is out on EP.

I'd still be careful with EP.
