The bug lies in the CIA's botched video of Bin Laden.... A coupla weeks after 911, Al-Jazeera (a CIA subsidiary) broadcast a video of Bin Laden praising and naming the hijackers one by one... How come Bin Laden forgot to praise the two Tunisian martyrs who allegedly murdered Massoud, Bin Laden's Nemesis?!?
As for Cheney, Rumsfeld and the Judeocon gang, although I don't condone their politics, I don't think they expected --much less planned-- 911. Now, that doesn't mean that US traitors were not involved --again, just ask FBI patsy Robert Hansen.... Rather, Rumsfeld, Rice and their fellow topsiders merely tried to keep up with events, call it "crisis management"....
Yet, the theory that turns the whole 911 attack into the brainchild of Cheney, Rumsfeld, etc. is just RIDICULOUS! It is, however, a very convenient theory for the US government because it provides public opinion with a "plausible" conspiracy and, at the same time, rules out any FOREIGN participation/responsibility in 911. The Belgian government played exactly the same trick back in 1985 when Israeli hitmen murdered 29 innocent shoppers in Brabant's supermarkets: Belgian spin-doctors talked about a coup attempt by the Belgian gendarmerie in cahoots with far-right operatives... Likewise, the foreign track was never investigated by Belgian sleuths. But then, as the late LBJ would put it (re the Liberty affair), you won't embarrass an ally, would you??
