Thanks for the advice. As to possible outcomes, aren't possible outcomes always the same? The reason I posted was because I wasn't sure I wasn't missing something. How would YOU write covered calls on stock you own for the long haul? And isn't the MAIN risk of buying a stock specifically to write the call that the bottom will fall out of the underlying stock?
