Actually the last 10 mos was not a "huge move up". Bush supporters want to characterize it that way. It was an average recovery scenario but not as good as prior market advances after recessions.

We should have had a blowout, extreme meltup in the markets after the worst bear market in 70 years and the consolidation. The abysmal dollar and bad mom and pop economy puts a lid on everything.

Bush has no chance of dealing with the issue of wealth destruction during his term.
