It doesn't matter what PLANS he had. He was a toothless tiger. Heck, even when Baghdad was INVADED, he could do nothing! And his air force, which allegedly could rain chemical weapons on US, didn't even bother to take off. All we did by dethroning Saddam was to open up Iraq to Al Qaeda. Which is why it doesn't matter anymore whether Saddam is alive or dead, running or limping, thin or fat, buried or cremated or crawling or begging or crying or bald or unshaven or whatever. Iraq has turned into a mess and we are in the thick of it. As Chalabi said on TV, it doesn't matter anymore now that we are stuck in Baghdad.
