Your definition of our nature has always been arbitrary and self-serving... It is not arbitrary at all. Not even in the slightest. It captures our first arrival on earth as biological entities. ...but if contraception is contrahuman, isn't abstinence also contrahuman? Well, two things: 1. Contrary to the use of contraception, abstinence is merely the absence of a certain type of behavior. 2. Abstinence as a principle is therefore not contra human because it does not DO anything. Isn't every year after a human reaches puberty that humans don't reproduce contrahuman? See above. Humans have a valid right not to reproduce. They do not have the right to force anyone else not to reproduce or to support non-reproduction, since humans depend upon reproduction to exist.
