Well, I have no reservations for going after Democrats who supported Bush based on the politics of the war, in the pre-congressional election vote. Let me ask you: Who timed that vote? Yes, those Democrats who favored the preemptive war doctrine were wrong also!

The Iraq portion of the war is not over. I think what we're now seeing is--hey, anyone remember this?--the so-called secret weapon that the Iraqi Information Minister kept talking about while we were bombing and rushing inward and which everyone laughed about. By no means is this war over! Who on earth are you really kidding?

And you should be consciousness enough to know that going after terrorists, with our current policy, is like going after drug dealers. How have we done in that war? Get ready for the same results!

The only thing that will kill a terrorist is education and an opportunity. But America, especially in the oil regions, has never been all that good at providing that--unless there was a deal to be made for a fatcat somewhere more than not hanging out in Republican money.

If you think Bush's strategy is gonna stamp out the terrorists, you oughta take a Candide/Pangloss tour of the world!
