One thing is for certain. If Kerry drops out, Dean will be the one to gain the most, including a guaranteed lock on the North.

Clark may make some headway in the South, but Dean will still have considerable momentum and will pick up the West. Result: Dean gets nominated on the first ballot with Clark as his VP.

Gore is an attractive candidate. I did vote for him in the last election, and I respect his intellect, however, he is not Howard Dean. Dean will defeat Gore if he enters now. It would be better for Gore to wait 8 years. There is still too much negative sentiment about the Clinton era.
