Bush's negatives are so terrible precisely for these reasons. You can't really run from performance, in the end it bites you. And Bush's performance numbers are right there in black and white as far as people's lives are concerned. From a corporate CEO standpoint, Bush is a winner. But Bush's votebuying is not "tricking down".

Well- anyway I know from the RWE threads that the wingers think Bush will win hands down even in the Northeast and West Coast, its a major denialfest and I don't think this thread would be any different really. But ask yourself what would cause a president to have 42% strong disapproval ratings. Thats awful close to half. Hate is a more powerful emotion at the voting booth than much else.
