Hi M, Well about a month or so ago Biopure announced that it would take until about mid 2004 to gather the data that the FDA wants for their final questions. The reason given is that the data must be gathered in the field as it's not currently in their files. This news killed the stock and it's my guess that the SHORTS jumped back on for another ride. What was also stated was that no additional testing was requested, just more info from existing test data. The good news is that FDA hasn't thrown them out. Further BPUR has gone further with this potential product than anyone else thus far. I'll check at the library and see if I can get current short interest on the stock. My usual on-line source seems to have quit working. Best regards, Tom
