Rollins was in no way working for the party when he said this. He was involved in a very serious honest intellectual discussion with Gary Hart and others on CSPAN. Jimminy Wlllikers, kimosabe. Honest is about the last word I would use to describe Rollins, or Hart for that matter. Look, Hart had a perfect opportunity to get the honest truth out to the American public in his self-referentially labeled "Rudman-Hart report on Terrorism." While this may have been an ego-stroke for Hart, it was hardly the sort of honest in-depth analysis of U.S. foreign policy that would have gone any distance toward ending the ruinous foreign policy failures of the U.S. which cause so much the resentment and "blowback" that we regularly endure. Instead of going to root causes of "why they hate us", Hart simply tried to slip a bandaid over oozing open wound that the rest of the world is suffering at our hand. Hart and Rollins as honest men? Yeah, right. And I'm the Queen of England.
