The same reason people getting taken in when you have crooks rubbing elbows with Bill and Hillary so people let their guard down and blindly throw money at a company and they get caught holding the bag. They tell me that Glenn used to sing a song called "bringing in the sheep" as he was checking trading volume during one of the pumps.
