LOL... The only shameless censorship prevailing in Europe is about anti-Arab, anti-Muslim xenophobia --not to speak about the plight of the Gypsies, in both Eastern and Western Europe...
Granted, there's a rise of anti-Zionism... but not just among North African outcasts, most decent people are outraged and appalled as they realized that Israel's jackboot leadership doesn't want to negotiate at all with legitimate Palestinian leaders...
So, how is it in the field? Well, you'd better not wear a kippa (yarmulke) in some (derelict) neighborhoods but, in yet other vicinities, you'd better not be a darkey! 50-60% of Arab youths are unemployed... what's the ratio for Jews? Dunno... Why? Because of censorship: you won't find statistical data on Jewish employment, income,... unless you need them to prop up yet another "study on anti-semitism".
There are currently about 550,000 Jews living in France and I bet you their number is growing, not shrinking... But it's small wonder when you realize how successfully Jews have thriven in French society --for instance, here's a list of Presidential hopefuls for the next election in 2007: current Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy (the son of a Hungarian Jew and a close friend of LICRA President P. Gaubert), Paris Mayor Delanoe (a Tunisian Jew), former prime minister Laurent Fabius (Jew), former Finance Minister Dominique Strauss-Khan (Jew). So far, the only immigrant who made it to a Government post is... I forgot her name, she's secrétaire d'état aux affaires sociales (not sure) and the daughter of Algerian immigrants.
Besides, not a month passes without the MURDER --yes, murder, not just harassment-- of an Arab youth, an Arab passerby, or a Muslim scholar, be it in France, Belgium, Germany, you name it. I have yet to hear of the killing of a Jew or a Rabbi in Europe because of his/her ethnicity. Last year alone, a young professor of Islam was shot dead in Antwerp, a Moroccan couple was shot dead in Schaerbeek (Brussels) by their racist neighbor, a young Tunisian was shot dead in a cafe in Northern France by an "angry-white-French", etc, etc. Here's a website listing a digest of anti-Arab violence in Europe:
