This country was founded by folks fleeing oppression and seeking among other things freedom from the suppression of religion. The atheist inspired rewrite of our beliefs and the constitution began with the ban on school prayer including a ban on voluntary prayer at sports events.
It continues with:
Ordering the 10 commandments out of a courthouse.
Working to stop religious schools from receiving support to provide basic education. Yet private non-religious schools do receive support.
Enabling the execution of viable infants whose only mistake is they have not yet transited the birth canal. Even as a majority of the most ardent pro abortion folks are opposed to abortion when, if instead of an abortion the doctor did a C section, a child would be born.
Working to prove that we have a constitutional right to sodomy. Show me that in the constitution.
Railing against the beliefs of others while maintaining similar positions. For example Steven wrote, "I couldn’t care less if he mentions God. Everyone is welcome to grovel to the hypothesis of their choice. I find that incomprehensible, but not objectionable. If they want others to grovel with them, that is objectionable." Yet he has objected often to just that.
Then he continued with, "Trying to characterize our current conflict as a religious war is not illegal, but for people in government it’s not terribly bright."
It seems to me that as far as he is concerned, groveling is really ok...as long as you grovel with his atheistic viewpoint. Just don't go groveling to your own song.
Soon they will have us replacing all the white tombstones in our National Cemeteries because they have Christian Crosses and/or Stars of David engraved on them.
Again I say, "This country was founded by Pilgrims fleeing oppression and seeking among other things freedom from the suppression of religion."
I would invite those who care not for what this country stands for to cut off their balls, commit suicide, and join the group of California atheists who did the same to catch a ride on a comet. They can all get together there and start their own country based on atheism. Just think, they can have their own motto and print it on their money and engrave it on their structures. I would suggest they use, "In nothing we trust." |
