As Bush said on several occasions, he doesn't think "too much" and primarily acts on his "gut instinct".

... which is sad, considering that us humans have excelled so far through the use of the gray matter between our ears, otherwise known as "thinking", and the rest of the animal kingdom, who rely on "gut instincts" are still climbing trees and picking flies from each other's hair.
