Yes, that would mean that the National Debt has increased about a Trillion Dollars in the first 3 years of the Bush (43) Administration. Since you have such a good grasp of the numbers (for the purpose of comparison), how much did the National Debt increase the first three years of the Clinton Administration? Realizing of course, that when President Clinton became President, the Nation was one year into an economic recovery - and President George W. Bush became President, when the nation was sliding (or already in) recession?
