Neither the NATO nor the US armed forces are in the required strength in Afghanistan. Besides NATO seems to have cooled off after it saw the US abandon Afghanistan. And even then, Afghanistan is a lot less bloody for the occupying troops. Except for warlords butchering one another, and a bumper poppy harvest, Afghanistan is a major success for the US! ;-) ;-)
