When discussing the economy, the dems and left want us to forget about 9/11 and its shock to the economy. We've come a long way, baby, and my hat's off to Bush for taking the bull by the horns.

If Gore were President (scary thought): Gore would be giving a speech today, explaining that although we are in an economic depression caused by the 9/11 WTC attacks, bin Laden's achievement of his goal of taking over Saudi Arabia and restoring Islamic fundamentalism there resulted in his assurances to Gore and the UN that bin Laden wouldn't attack us, so long as we admitted that we were infidels and converted to Islam. Gore's aides are finalizing the language of the agreement, seen by liberals as a great breakthrough in international relations. Duray, AmSpi't, CC, Phillips, and others on SI rejoice, lauding Gore and proclaiming, "He averted war."
