I must admit that I am not quite sure what the term "bubble" means. Everyone throws it around when talking about anything tech, and yet I do not think that this is appropriate. Industries like networking clearly saw a bubble in 2000 and will not pass those levels for quite sometime.....internet stocks- totally separated from reality in 2000. But what of semiconductors? There are numerous forecasts calling for higher revenues in 2004 than in 2000.....can this be termed a bubble in any sense of the word? A 4 year gap from one peak to a new one is a normal business cycle, not a bubble.

Technology is not a monolith, and one word cannot sum up the varied technology field(s), not to mention the all of the emotions that go into pricing the shares.
