Well, moveon.org is not running their anti-Bush ad in Michigan, which was one of the key swing states. To me that means their polls say either that Bush is so far ahead in Michigan that there is no point in playing the ad, or that Bush has already lost Michigan. My guess, given the job loss there, is that it is the latter.

Ohio still gets the ad but since I have contacts out there my sense is that it is the same as Michigan in terms of Bush support. Unless this economy catches fire, and by that I mean the JOB MARKET, Bush is really in trouble. And its not just jobs its wages too, there is way too much wage deflation, 40% in some cases for professionals... accountants etc. No way can Bush survive this in addition to the Iraq mess and budget fiasco. I'll leave the environmental issues off because those don't matter in Ohio or Michigan, people don't vote as much environmental. But the economy is the big one.
