Your message is exactly what makes Dean unelectable. With supporters like you who bash our military and call a deliberate draft-dodger a patriot, mainstream Americans will see Dean as a weak, far-left rabble-rouser and say "no thanks, too risky".

Dean is very liberal on key issues whether you're willing to admit it or not. Balancing the budget in Vermont is not only easy but mandatory. Most governors have to balance budgets every year. It doesn't make you non-liberal. What you'd be saying is that liberals are spending maniacs. That is no longer the case. Bush is the biggest spender of all time and he's far right-wing. Dean's programs are no more fiscally conservative than anyone else's. To pay for them he wants to raise taxes across the board, even do away with the marriage penalty relief. That's another big losing issue for him.

The only thing Dean is moderate about is gun control, but that's because he's from a rural state with no cities. Therefore, almost all guns have legitimate purposes.
