I live in the Northshore school district in the outskirts of Seattle. I have 2 kids in school, one in high school and one in middle school and I am very pleased with the schools and the teachers they have. I think you are projecting blame for the ills of society onto the schools. I think sometimes there is an equal failing of the parents. And that could be because they are working 2 or 3 jobs and trying to survive because of class warfare policies by republicans. So they are not around to supervise their child after school. I think there is a connection of economics to the problems that you are not addressing.
