In Christianity you find the church built on the bedrock of one apostle Peter I know some fundamentalist Protestants who believe that Christ didn't intend the pun, and wasn't building the Church on Peter. I suspect they also don't believe Christ ever drank wine, but only grape juice. One of the biggest problems with the Koran, in my opinion, is that it is self-contradictory, for example, some suras say that there should be no compulsion about religion, and say nice things about Christians and Jews, and then there are the others, not very nice, calling Jews and Christians apes and dogs.
