tsigprofit,

Re: It would be a lot easier than Iran, but then Syria may have chemical weapons, who knows?

Do you fall for all the bullsh!t the Bushies try to sell you? There is no credible basis upon which to claim that Syria has chemical weapons that threaten the U.S. public. All that you are basing this irrational fear on is the propaganda you've absorbed from some extremely sick people like John Bolton, Douglas Feith, Paul Wolfowitz, William Kristol and a number of other discredited Zionist neo-cons.
These whacked out imperialists do have reasons to be concerned that should they attack Syria, that Syria may not simply fall apart before some counteract is mounted against the ultimate evil instigator of this whole malevolent and insane game, i.e. the Sharon government in Israel.

Re: who knows what Bush will do next?

Bush will do whatever Sharon tells him to do.

Re: Problem is - I don't think it would be easy to do at current US troops levels...

The U.S. flew 450,000 sorties over Iraq bombing the crap out of that country from the end of hostilities in 1991 until the hot war starting March 19, 2003. Bush can and will be planning a bombing campaign first against Syria. Troop levels don't matter a whit in this cold-blooded calculation. High altitude murder is easy to sell to a gullible American public. They don't have any concept what life is like on the ground underneath the jackboots of U.S. war plane pilots.
