From the first link you posted, (which is basically the same story as your second link):
President Bush urged Americans Thursday to pray for God's guidance as the country struggles with the loss of the seven astronauts and faces the threat of terrorism and possible war against Iraq to disarm it of weapons of mass destruction. The country, he said, was in a time of testing, and it needed to pray for wisdom "to know and do what is right." "This is a testing time for our country," Bush said at the annual National Prayer Breakfast in Washington.
As individuals, Christians would have already been praying for "guidance" and "wisdom". That is what Christians do as we are taught. Luke 18:1, Ephesians 6:18, 1Thess. 5:16-18, James 1:5, Jude 1:20, to name just a few of many. So to restate those thoughts at a prayer breakfast would have been a normal thing. Your conclusions are lacking.
The third link is just a liberal spouting off, so i dismiss it.
BTW, here is your original quote:
When he says that Jesus (his God) told him to attack Iraq. Message 19569522
Not one place have you shown me where George Bush says he was told by Jesus,(whom you say is "(his God)",<<which is another mistake made by you, but that is another conversation>>, to attack Iraq. |
