<The simple FACT of the Matter....>

With 2003 now nearing its end, it is clear that the entire year has been one long rolling thunder of political distractions. Foremost amongst these was, of course, the build up to war, the actual attack on Iraq, and the ongoing US occupation of that conquered nation.

Right from the start - the war was UNNECESSARY.

Before the war, Saddam was boxed in completely. He was under constant UN inspections. He was dying economically under a UN sanctioned economic blockade. He was under sporadic US air attacks.

Since the war, ALL the "reasons" given for attacking Iraq have been exposed. NO "WMDs" have been found. The vast majority of the global community knows that the attack was a breach of international law.
