Geez, now I'm the expert on cloning drives LOL!

I'm a bad choice for help in this situation as I've never owned a laptop; I know just enough to keep my own network running in my own idiosyncratic way; and I've never used the Drive Copy program.

I'm also not clear what exactly you are working with--2 laptops or is one computer a desktop? What are the OS's? And how are you contemplating fixing the problem? Do you want to add a second partition to the 'bad' computer so you can backup some data ahead of re-installing the OS?

I'm sure I or others on this board can get you further down the road with a few more specifics on the situation.
