If you don't have a problem with the Bible being self-contradictory you shouldn't have a problem with the Koran being self-contradictory. You may have a problem with the statement that that the Koran is the inerrant word of God. I have the same problem. I also have a problem with Christian fundamentalists stating that he Bible is the inerrant word of God.
