It is an article of faith among Muslims that the Koran was sent down from Heaven by Allah, that there are no pre-Islamic influences, that it is inerrant and infallible and divinely inspired.

Christians and Jews for the most part believe that the men who wrote the Bible were capable of making errors. Not so from Muslims.

Fundamentalist Christians claim that the 1611 King James Version of the Bible is inerrant and infallible and divinely inspired. It's an irrefutable fact that the earlier Latin, Greek and Aramaic versions had multiple variations. Thus, the claim that the King James Version "is just like Jesus wrote it."
