Va Tech plans to play USC, the National Champions maybe depending on which rankings you believe. This should quiet that Syracuse fan who complained that VT does not schedule tough opponents early in the season.

Virginia Tech and Southern California officials would like to see their teams meet in the Black Coaches Association football game in late August next year, and FedEx Field is among the venues being considered. All parties agree that nothing, including the date, is close to being set.

Oh yeah, it is also suspected that Kansas State was fired up enough to whup unbeaten Oklahoma by comments from a Syracuse fan who publicly labeled K-State as overrated.

Sounds like trouble when Dennis stirs things up. BCS officials say this is a fine mess.
