Compaq is cutting prices on the Armada
1500 and Armada 4100 notebook PC
families, from 5% to 25%. The Armada
4110 will cost $999, down from $1,199.
The Armada 4100 weighs 5.1 pounds. The
Armada 1530 will cost $2,499, down from
$2,899. Compaq said it was cutting prices
to take advantage of the market demand for
portable PCs.
