I am concerned with whether the invasion was justified- because doing bad things to bad people, can easily be a precedent for doing bad things to not-quite-so-bad-people, and finally, doing bad things to anyone who you think "deserves" it. Thus, imo, proper justification must be used in every instance, not just when there are "good" people involved. We're not so great at telling who the "good" guys are. imo, of course I am also concerned with whether this was a good use of our resources (the necessary, important argument that you make), and I do not think it was.
