re semi-professional currency speculation: i'm not sure if this is exactly what you are thinking of, but i find steve saville's letter very useful. currencies are one of his three main focuses, and he regularly reviews how they impact other trades: this week's edition, for instance, reviewed this year's S&P in dollars and in euros, the A$ versus the euro, and POG in terms of SA rand.
the fundamental analysis is sometimes brief, but always to the point, and the charts provide a useful perspective on other analysts' prognostications who rely on 'raw' indexes or prices, rather than the ratios between them.
i have never subscribed to the richebacher letter, but i believe currency is a large part of his focus too.
