gyd.v - upticked nicely on volume this morning ... for its market cap i think it's got possibilities ... McCluskey of Alamos used to be president of Grayd, and is still on the board .... here's a map showing Mulatos, ckg's Juliana, and gyd's La India all in a line about fifteen clics long - investorshub.com

Gee there is a lot of off-topic here lately ..... but, <sigh> - for years i drove a '76 300D, loved the sunroof and the little five-banger ticking away ... good mileage, and that was when diesel was significantly cheaper, nice handling, comfortable, and it needed almost no repairs .... but, had to replace the glow plugs, and was shocked by the cost, it wasn't double that of say those of the cornbinder 6.9, it was far more, like four times .... and the body was rotting out too, i didn't help this any by driving it back east in the winter salt and then not washing it after .... finally sold it only because i couldn't justify insuring a second vehicle while being a bachelor who was either working and using the pickup or travelling

Dutch equipment contractors used the 300D for years, put a real skookum trailer hitch on them and pull their fuel tanks and heavy tools etc .... one guy i know has a foto of one of his with a hiab mounted on the trailer [a hiab is a hydraulic crane for loading], says he used to load logs with it, among other things .... also pianos - to get a piano into or out of the higher stories of buildings, they needed a big crane usually to reach over the building and put it into the back [can't recall why, municipal regs or something], but the hiab could reach to the second storey on the front ... anyway they swear by the old 300D, some of them used to cut them down into pickups, just take a torch and chop it from right behind the front seat
